about

Built around neglected recordings, products of moments with my long lost first modular synthesizer, “Uses of Gravity” gives the opportunity for forgotten sounds, created under different circumstances and reasons, to come to surface acting, literally speaking, as the foundation for new soundscapes. Continuing from the point reached with “do you feel lucky”, not so much in style but in compositional philosophy, “Uses of Gravity” moves into more abstract and spontaneous forms, aiming towards a raw production methodology.

Dimitris Santziliotis studio project characterized by its unclassified output. Guided by intuition, and diverse influences he is using purely analogue gear and outdated techniques, to create dark unsettling atmospheres.
